They took us to the top of Mount Washington via the historical cog train. A GREAT ride! Now we know what the arctic must be like! 60 MPH sustained winds at 0 degrees at the top. And the park ranger said it was a CALM day! On the way down the weather cleared and you could see the gorgeous fall colors across the neighboring mountains and valleys. |

We had lunch at the
Mountain View Grand Resort
where Stephen King had to get part of his idea for 'THE
SHINING'. Notice the twins in the center of this real picture
hanging in the lobby. Some pictures also of Littleton NH. We missed a shot of the best candy store in the world though! Chutters. |

Their home they share with 'the girls';
Ursa, Annaka, and Isis. Beautiful place!! I do
want to come back in my second life as one of
their pups! A far cry from the Viking-Marine Fort ;) Ken's a lucky guy! Sandy cooked a wonderful meal with clam chowder and fresh lobster. mmmMMMMmmm! |
