New Mexico State University, Las Cruces, NM

April 1999 to August 2015, UNIX and Mainframe Senior Systems Administrator

·        Install, patch, and manage servers (primarily Solaris, AIX, Redhat Linux, SUSE Linux), performing all levels of administration for over 200 servers (in a group of 8 administrators)

·        Perform all levels of administration and planning in providing site-wide backup and disaster recovery for 350+ servers/desktops using Tivoli Storage Manager (in a group of 3 administrators)

·        Install and administer SERVERGRAPH for TSM management, client failure notification, backup system monitoring and planning

·        Provide contract systems/applications support for New Mexico Dept. of Agriculture’s REXX/DB2 systems running on an IBM z/VM OS (in a group of 3 administrators)
